Talent Provider's automated search engine allows talent buyers to search for entertainers by how close the entertainer is in relation to the talent buyer's venue at the time of their event. If an entertainer shows up in the talent buyer's search, they immediately know that the entertainer is available, what their price is, and that they can make it to the talent buyer's event on time. All they have to do is book the act. Talent Provider's patent-pending search algorithm first searches for entertainers offering deals near the talent buyer's venue, then for entertainers that are traveling near the talent buyer's venue, and lastly for local entertainers near the talent buyer's venue. All a talent buyer has to do is look at a few detailed press kits and decide who he wants to book, then book them through Talent Provider. The entertainer then answers an e-mail and either accepts or declines the talent buyer's offer or they have the option to make a counter offer within their previously chosen price range.
|What a buyer sees when searching for entertainers on Talent Provider:|
|1st part of search result||Traveling entertainers who are offering deals of up to 50% off that are within 300 miles of the talent buyer's venue or zip code within 3 days before or after the talent buyer's event, and who are available at the time of the talent buyer's event.|
|2nd part of search result||Traveling entertainers who are within 300 miles of the talent buyer's event or zip code and are available at the time of the talent buyer's event.|
|3rd part of search result||Local entertainers whose home base is within 300 miles of the talent buyer's event or zip code and are available at the time of the talent buyer's event.|
The benefit for talent buyers is that they know everything they need to know to book an entertainer without making phone calls or doing more research. All they do is click 'Book Now' and the entertainer will receive an e-mail with the talent buyer's offer. The offer must fall within a price range the entertainer has previously set. There is never a need for entertainers to bid for work.
When the talent buyer decides to book an entertainer, he has to deposit 35% of the performance fee, which includes Talent Provider's 5% commission. Talent Provider's 5% commission is paid by the talent buyer, not the entertainer, so the talent buyer actually pays 105% of the entertainer's fee. This is a small price to pay for the convenience, ease of use, and travel cost savings that Talent Provider offers.
